A SmartWeigh-trained engineer arrives at your yard, depot or drive with the full kit and calibration weigh pads. The system goes in and gets calibrated on-site against the pads with the vehicle fully loaded. Your driver is walked through how to use the display and app. Paperwork signed, keys handed back.

Important: what you need to provide on fitting day
Our installer brings calibration weigh pads to site as part of the fit – no weighbridge trip needed. But calibration only works with a fully loaded vehicle, so you need to provide on the day:
- Enough product to load the vehicle to its maximum legal weight
- A way to load that product onto the vehicle (forklift, telehandler, conveyor, grab - whatever you normally use)
If product or loading means are not available when we arrive, we can install the system but cannot calibrate it. A return visit will be needed for calibration, which incurs a return visit fee.

If you already fit dashcams, trackers, reversing cameras, parking sensors or telematics, a SmartWeigh install sits right in your wheelhouse. Sensor kit mounted to chassis, cable run back to cab on usual loom path, in-cab display wired to switched live, Bluetooth-paired to the app (works with the vehicle running), calibrated using on-site weigh pads with a fully loaded vehicle. Three to four hours on the drive and the job is signed off.
Four steps if you fit it yourself.
If you have a workshop and a technician, the kit is designed to allow fitting yourself. Step-by-step printed and digital guide, phone and email support throughout, and a weighbridge calibration at the end.
Mount the display
Pick a clear spot in the cab. Fix the screen using the kit bracket. Make sure it sits firm.
Mount the sensors
Attach load sensors to the axles. Weld for strength, or strong adhesive for speed.
Wire it up
Run sensors back to the junction box. Wire to a switched supply, then to the display.
Power up and calibrate
Switch on, check readings, calibrate at a weighbridge. You are all set.
