Non-legal-for-trade. Designed as an axle overload monitor with ±5% accuracy across the full vehicle weight range, built for multiple drops, mixed loads and a limit the DVSA are actively enforcing.
±5% is a guide figure across the full weight range of the vehicle. The system is most accurate at 90–100% GVW, at lower weights it is less precise. It is designed and marketed at ±5% as an honest figure that covers the whole range.
